You can 1V1 any mage as long as you are able to hit them once to slow them and get them inside your ult before they unleash their rotation of spells.
With the crit items and the hammer you can stick to anyone while also keeping them from kiting you inside your own ultimate. Ring of spears may not seem all that useful at first but you will soon come to love it! when used correctly ring of spears can save the lives of team mates, spell certain doom for you opposition and well just hinder your enemy to no end! if you or you teammate are weak and being chased ring of spears can block an entire lane on joust (need to confirm on other game modes) and so long as your enemy doesn't have a leap they can no longer chase.This makes you more than tanky enough, combined with your ult it allows you to jump into the enemy team and severely disrupt everyone. it also hit everything in its arc so is useful for pulling minion aggro early on to support your weaker comrades. Gungnir's might unfortunately is to low powered to be used particularly offensively however, on you first swing if an enemy is hit they will be slowed for a short time which is incredible for cleaning up those weak enemies. Raven shout shield will also explode when you land from lunge! Raven shout, as you will find, although being a shield ability will often be one of your main sources of damage as when the shield times out it will let out a damage blast to any enemies in the near vicinity. Lunge can be used both to escape and attack and is going to be vital in almost any fight! thankfully Lunge has a low CD but still keep an eye on the battle and only use when you need to! Stone of Gaia - Use SoG instead of FB hammer or spirit robe if against magical characters.

Spirit robe is amazing for odin as the all round protections make him tankier and the 15% CDR put him at the max of 40% with jotunn's and so while being tanky you can also be aggressive with the higher CDR. Titan's bane is the last item to get as this will help overcome the protection that people have no doubt put on at the end of the game because your stomping out their hopes and dreams. Warrior tabi are the best boots for this Odin build as we're going for more damage than usual with Odin.Īnother must have item for Odin as the Mana boost especially with max stacks means you can play a lot more aggressively and the power is amazing to boost your stomp damage!Īlthough not essential with odin, shifters shield is incredible for boosting Odins defense whilst keeping some of the damage up.įrostbound hammer is useful in a similar way to shifter's with the health boost and a bit of damage, however the main gain for FB hammer is the slow on basic attack as this means you can slow your enemies whilst your cool downs are on and also to stop high mobility characters just looping around you in your Ult. Jotunn's wrath is an essential item for Odin as cool down make Odin ridiculously OP, again the increased Mana means more stomps which is always good and then the phys power and phys pen increase your overall damage! Bluestone Pendant is an incredibly strong starter item for Odin as Odin especially start game is Mana hungry and the damage over time help clean up those early kills you would otherwise not have gotten.
